Welcome to G.A.P.S. - Group for Advocacy and Parent Support!
G.A.P.S. is a Support Group for Parents and Guardians of individuals with special needs, offering advocacy skills training, networking, information, support and resources.
The goal of G.A.P.S. is to "fill in the gaps" parents encounter in their understanding of the special education system, transition and post High School supports and services. We will assist parents in developing successful advocacy skills, encourage them to become engaged in their child's education, and understand their options entering adulthood.
Networking
G.A.P.S. will be temporarily suspending monthly parent meetings, beginning in December, for the Winter months.
Look for new meetings in Spring, 2013!

Potter, Tioga, Bradford, Clinton, Lycoming, Sullivan, Centre, Union, Montour, Columbia, Snyder and Northumberland.
Who Can Join G.A.P.S.?
Please do not bring children to our meetings. It's hard for parents to openly share about difficult issues that involve children when they are present.
