Overview of the ID System:

Does the thought of working with the Intellectual Disabilities (ID) System make your head spin?

This training will help you stop spinning as you learn:

the history of the ID System
how to register in the system
who is eligible for services
what the ID System has to offer
funding sources
what to do when you have problems

What is an ID Waiver and How Do I Get One?:

90% of funding distributed by ODP is through Intellectual Disabilities (ID) waivers! If you haven't applied or have applied and aren't yet receiving waiver services, join us to learn:

why waivers are important
who is eligible
how to apply
the differences in funding sources
the importance of your Individual Support Plan (ISP)
your rights

 

Registration deadline: the Monday prior to each session.

TIME: Sessions begin at 6 PM.

LOCATION: Bradford County Human Services, ID Program, 220 Main Street, Unit 1, Towanda, PA 18848

When registering, ask about:

1. ACCOMMODATIONS

2. ALTERNATE FORMATS (request 2-3 weeks before session)

3. REIMBURSEMENT (mileage, tolls, parking and childcare expenses may be covered)

4. CREDITS (Act 48 - $10 processing fee)

All training participants receive The Gold Book—Understanding the Office of Developmental Programs in Pennsylvania: Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Services—revised and updated.
